While the Rondo Blue and Bronze had better styli from the factory, all three had the same generator. If Ortofon did anything, probably tested the generator before deciding which ones got the Bronze, Blue, or Red bodies. Now, I could buy one of the above listed MC cartridges as most compare well with the Rondo Red if not better and be happy with.
