Simos beach at Elafonissos island which is located in southeastern of the Peloponnese, Greece
The endless beach of Simos has fine golden sand and dunes within reaching almost 10 m. height. The forest with the sea trees covers a wide area and connects with the two beaches. The beach got its name from Kalymnos sponge-diver, Simos, who drowned in the area near the beach.
